Saw that, Gravy. What does Pratt owe trainer McCarthy? Did McCarthy give him his start here? Two lousy races, one a Grade 3 on a 2/5 favorite. Big fn deal. Pratt is pretty close to Irad for the Saratoga riding title. You know those guys want that prestigious title.

But that title means big dollars 'cause it brings better mounts.

The only two horses he's riding are McCarthy horses. First race and eighth race. No other mounts. The whole thing is peculiar.

Yea, forgot to mention that the weather could nullify any plans. One of my old buddies is flying in from Florida. But that was his stipulation too.

Let's hope for great weather. They got a great weekend this weekend and are due for another. It's been a wet weekend year at Saratoga.
